Snaring River Camping Trip June 2010

We went for our first camping trip with the trailer. The weather, the campsite, everything was perfect! Of course I forgot my camera, but I did have my cell phone... here are my cell phone pictures.

This was a roadside stop to look at a lake and when we went back to our truck there was an elk there. He was pretty close. The next picture is zoomed (it's my cell phone so it's not the greatest). We kept our distance ----- safety first :) Look at Sierra and Jacob holding hands --- awe. We just told them to stand next to eachother.

These are all from our campground, it was beautiful. The Snaring River was just 20 meters from our site. We even got to walk out in it in shallow areas. The water was freezing, but we loved it! Logan and Sierra especially loved the sand and rocks. We saw a couple elk, deer, lots of bighorn sheep (of course), and a coyote. Dan and I were taking down the awning on the trailer while the kids were inside and a coyote just walked right past our site on the road. He paid no attention to us and after he passed I peeked around the corner and he was gone into the trees.
